Fume Hood and Double Distillation unit

Two fume hoods are available for syntheses purpose. For performing spectroscopic-related studies and in different syntheses distilled water is used from the double distillation unit.

Femtosecond Optical Gating (FOG) Set up

Femtosecond Optical Gating (FOG) instrument, otherwise known as Femtosecond Upconversion is installed at the CRF. This instrument allows to measure emissive lifetime in the femtosecond-picosecond regime. The pump wavelength ranges from 690 nm-1020 nm, which can be upconverted by second and third harmonic generation, thus allowing almost the entire spectrum range from 230 nm to 1020 nm to be used for pumping.

Time Correlated Single Photon Counting (TCSPC)

DeltaFlex TCSPC, Horiba is present in CRF to perform lifetime studies of different species. Four nano-leds having excitation wavelengths 265, 285, 340, 455 nm and one LASER of 405 nm with less than 1.2, 1.2, 1.2, 1.4 and 0.2 ns pulse duration respectively,  are present as excitation sources.
